Spotify does not accept music directly from independent artists. To get on the platform, every track has to be delivered by an approved digital distributor — that is where SMSound India fits in.

Spotify reports streams and earnings to us monthly. Your dashboard breaks the revenue down by country, plan tier (free vs. Premium), and per-track stream count so you can see exactly where the money came from.

Once your balance crosses the payout threshold you can withdraw to an Indian bank account, PayPal, or Payoneer. Indian artists are paid in INR with TDS handled per current tax law. There is no waiting for quarterly cycles — payouts run on a monthly cadence.
